Movement IV — Exploitation

The Loop Closes

Carries · The six forces as one machine, looping back to Information
C25 — The Loop Closes

Exploitation requires reading, which is Information — so the last force runs back into the first and the loop never stops.

Look at where this leaves us. To exploit a leak, you first have to read it — and reading is Information, the first force. To read it you decode what his actions reveal; to protect yourself you manage what yours reveal in return. The last force runs straight back into the first.

Six forces, one machine

That is the shape of the whole thing. Hidden state and its management — Information. The false beliefs you plant in it — Deception. The standing imbalances you exploit — Asymmetry. The prices you set to get paid — Incentive. The unbeatable line where it all settles — Equilibrium. And the deliberate departure from that line to take what a flawed opponent offers — Exploitation — which sends you right back to reading the next hand.

Six forces, one machine. The rest is learning to feel it turn.

Exploitation invites counter-exploitation, which pushes both players back toward equilibrium, which exists only to be deviated from when a leak appears, which you can only see by reading, which is managing information. The loop never closes and never stops. It is the engine under every decision at the table. Everything else — board texture, bet sizing, blockers, ranges, the thousand named spots — is this same machine, running on a particular board at a particular stack depth. Learn the six forces and you are no longer memorizing poker. You are watching one engine turn.

So begin again, and watch it turn from the start — Force I, Information.
