Required equity = bet ÷ (pot + bet). Draw equity is exact for ~47 unseen cards after the flop. Against an opponent who can keep betting, factor in implied odds too.

Frequently asked

How do you calculate pot odds?
Pot odds are the price of a call — divide the amount you must call by the total pot after your call. Calling 50 into a 100 pot is 50 ÷ 200 = 25%, so you need to win at least a quarter of the time to break even.
How much equity do I need to call a bet?
Required equity equals the call divided by the pot plus the call. A pot-sized bet lays 2-to-1 so you need 33%; a half-pot bet needs 25%; a quarter-pot bet about 17%.
How do I turn outs into equity?
Roughly, multiply your outs by 4 with two cards to come, or by 2 with one card. This tool uses the exact figure — nine outs (a flush draw) is about 35% by the river.
Is this pot odds calculator free?
Yes. It runs entirely in your browser, needs no signup, and the math is exact.
